| Reeta Kapani, Managing Partner
Reeta is a Managing Partner of Silverfern Co-Investment PartnersSM and brings over 10 years of senior capital raising and deal experience to the SCIP team.
Reeta is additionally Head of The Private Funds Group for SCIP affiliate The Silverfern Group, Inc., prior to which she spent 6 years in Investment Banking on Wall Street, most recently with The Blackstone Group in New York, where as a member of the Blackstone Principal Group she focused on capital raising and investor relations across the Blackstone family of funds. Prior to The Blackstone Group, Reeta was in the Merchant Banking Group with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. in New York, before which she was in the Private Equity Group for Merrill Lynch & Co., also in New York.
Reeta has extensive experience in raising institutional capital across the spectrum of Alternative Asset class products including traditional private equity; communications; mezzanine; domestic and international real estate; sector and emerging market development funds.
Reeta’s hands-on fund raising experience includes: fund structuring; private placement memorandum preparation; investor presentation and roadshow design and preparation; investor and advisory board liaison; investor reporting; due diligence; fund closing organization; and day-to-day management of fundraising activities and communications. She is broadly experienced in running a Client’s capital raising process from start to finish, managing all investor relationships and day-to-day activities in between.
Reeta earned her Master of Business Administration degree from The Anderson School at UCLA, and her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University.
